About the Department:
The department of Civil Engineering, established in year 2010, offers B.Tech program in Civil Engineering with an intake of 60. It is endowed with well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty and committed supporting staff. The department has well established and state-of-art laboratories to cater the needs of the students.
Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including     works like roads, bridges, dams, and buildings. Civil engineering is the oldest engineering discipline after military engineering and it was defined to distinguish non-military engineering from military engineering.
Our Vision:
To evolve as a centre of academic excellence and research in Civil Engineering and allied fields
Our Mission:
To train the students with profound understanding of the fundamentals related to the discipline and their application in solving real life problems To promote research and    consultancy activities and contribute for the sustainable development of the society. To inculcate self learning abilities, team spirit and professional ethics among the students to serve the society.
